Details:

b. 4 January 1980. Initially a 1500m, 3000m runner, Susan turned to the road in 2000 and found her greatest success in the marathon, representing GB at the World and European Championships. She missed out on the 2012 Olympics but in April 2013 she improved her best at the London Marathon to 2:30:46, being the 1st Briton home and gaining the qualifying standard for the 2013 World Championships.
